MHD Jetour proudly hosted the second regional edition of the 2nd JETOUR International Service Skills Competition, reinforcing Oman’s status as a hub for automotive excellence. Held under the theme “JETOUR Star Service from the Heart,” this event drew 29 competitors in aftersales service and technical maintenance from 10 countries, including Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, showcasing their expertise and commitment to customer service.
The competition, which spanned five days, featured two key segments: The Service Reception Competition and the Maintenance Skills Competition. Participants were evaluated on their professional skills, psychological resilience, communication abilities, and technical proficiency. The event highlighted exceptional talent, with participants receiving high praise for their outstanding service delivery and technical capabilities. Notably, a technician from Jetour Oman achieved the first runner-up title in the Maintenance Skills category, further enhancing Oman’s reputation in the automotive industry.
In addition to the competition, the JETOUR Service Co-creation Forum was held concurrently. This forum facilitated productive discussions on aftersales service strategies for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) to ensure superior customer support as JETOUR expands its PHEV offerings in the Middle East.
Speaking on the event’s success, Mr. Mohsin Hani Al Bahrani, CEO of MHD ACERE, remarked:
“Hosting this prestigious competition underscores Oman’s growing prominence in the global automotive industry and MHD Jetour’s dedication to excellence in aftersales service. This event not only showcased the remarkable talent and commitment of our regional teams but also set a benchmark for delivering unparalleled customer service. We are immensely proud of our Omani technician’s achievement and look forward to representing the region at the global level in China next year.”
JETOUR’s emphasis on building a robust aftersales service network in the Middle East was evident throughout the event. As one of the brand’s most important overseas markets, the Middle East continues to play a pivotal role in shaping JETOUR’s global vision.
Following the success of the regional competition, the MHD Jetour Service Team has earned a spot to participate in the Global Service Skills Competition, slated to take place in China in 2025. Oman is among the top five countries selected for this global event, solidifying its position as a leader in aftersales excellence within the JETOUR network.
